Greene County Career Center Students:
We have had an increasing number of students needing to go to their cars on a daily basis. Students are not permitted in the parking lot during the school day, without at administrator. Students are required to be prepared when they enter class. Please make sure you are bringing everything you need from your car when you arrive for the day.
Students are able to purchase meals on days they are at home for their remote learning days by letting the cafeteria staff know during lunch. You may purchase breakfast and/or lunch to pick up at the end of the day. If you are a student that qualifies for a reduced lunch price, you are able to purchase a breakfast and/or lunch at the reduced price. If you qualify for a free lunch, there is no cost to have breakfast and lunch ready for pick up at the end of the day.”

All students must have a parking tag and park in the student parking lot.
Students are not permitted to park out front in the visitors parking.
All GCCC Students must be in uniform!
First period teachers please check for uniforms and IDs.
Any student not in proper 2020-2021 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform!
“If you need to add lunch money to your account with cash, credit card, or check, you can do so in the supply room. If you need to make a payment on your student fees, you can make the payment in the supply room. If you need to buy a parking pass, you can purchase it in the supply room. If your ID barcode does not work for the lunch line, please go to the supply room to have this changed.
ATTENTION STUDENTS: The expectation is that students are in class on time, every day, and every period! If you need a clean sweep, please go to Mrs. Osburn’s ( # 2317) room.

2020-2021 YEARBOOK – You’ve been asking for it and now it’s here! Yes, you can order the 2020-2021 yearbook for this year! To order, go online to Jostensyearbooks.com or see Mrs. Barber before school starts in the morning. Don’t miss the lowest price of the year! Just $45 and free icons until October 23rd then you lose your chance for free icons. Heads up: Order now because the price for a yearbook goes up to $55 before the school year is over.
SENIORS – It is very important that you join the Class of 2021 google classroom and 2021 Remind. Find the codes on the bulletin board in the cafeteria. If you don’t join, you will miss out on important information and on the opportunity to vote on some class decisions.
SENIOR COMPOSITE PICTURE DAY
When: Wednesday, October 28, 2020
ALL SENIORS need to have their pictures taken for the composite. No hoodies or t-shirts are allowed!!!

The Yearbook classes are still selling extra 2020 Yearbooks. They are $85.00 and you can pay with cash or check. You can stop by Room 111 to purchase either before or after school.
Do you like to learn and talk about different cultures and diversity? Then see Mrs. Garpiel in room 103 to join Diversity Club. Diversity club is an inclusive club that welcomes all students interested in sharing and learning about different cultures.
All athletes planning to try out for a Winter sport, need to be registered online through the Athletic Website and have a current physical on file in the Athletic Office. Coaches will have meetings with players and they will bring information home. There will not be traditional parent/athlete meetings

Powder Puff is Sunday, November 1st at 2:30pm. Sign-ups will begin this Friday and go through Wednesday, October 21st. The cost to participate for coaches, cheerleaders, and players is $20. Must have payment at time of sign-up, no exceptions. Students can sign up in the front office anytime between 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Good Morning XHS/GCCC Seniors!
Xenia High School Yearbook Advisor, Mr. Frank, wants to include your Senior in the Xenia High School yearbook this year.
The first event is the senior headshot. This is a portrait in a nice outfit with a studio background. Mr. Mack, Digital Design and Development Instructor, will be taking your Senior's photograph at the Greene County Career Center this year.
Seniors to keep your eyes and ears open for more information from Mr. Mack about how to get your portrait taken in the near future.
