Greene County Career Center Students:
Attention students who will be returning to Greene County Career Center next year, you will not be receiving new ID badges at the start of next year. If you need to purchase a new badge next year, you will be able to do so in the supply room. These IDs do cost $5 per print. Please plan on keeping
We have had an increasing number of students needing to go to their cars on a daily basis. Students are not permitted in the parking lot during the school day, without at administrator. Students are required to be prepared when they enter class. Please make sure you are bringing everything you need from your car when you arrive for the day.
Morning Detentions are back!
Mrs. Osburn will be waiting for you at the front entrance.
You must arrive by 7:10. No one will be permitted to enter late.
The expectation is that students are on time every day to every class!
If you are late for a class (other than first period) you must report to one of the following locations to get a “ clean sweep pass”
• Academics will report to Mrs. Taylor (2511)
• High Bay labs will report to Mr. Downing
• Other labs and Credit Recovery will report to ISD
Where is purchasing (the supply room) and what can I do there? Purchasing is located in the hall toward the high bay labs. Just past the cafeteria on the left.
1) Pick up uniforms
2) Add lunch money with a credit card
3) Purchase your parking pass
4) Pay school fees
5) Purchase: stylus; earbuds; facemasks; safety glasses;
and computer case straps
6) Purchase a replacement student ID

All GCCC Students must be in uniform!
First period teachers please check for uniforms and IDs.
Any student not in proper 2020-2021 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform!
Are you interested in writing, recording, and performing music? Then join Musicians Connect! We provide opportunities for vocalists, instrumentalists, and producers to showcase their talent. Meetings are on Wednesday in room 2032 from 3-4:30. Feel free to bring any musical equipment.

ATTENTION, PIANO, GUITAR AND BASS GUITAR PLAYERS – Mr. Mahan is looking for you! The Jazz Band has openings for those three instruments for next school year. If you’re interested or have questions, see Mr. Mahan before summer break!
SUMMER GOLF LEAGUE – Middle School through High School summer golf league beginning June 10th every Thursday at 9:00AM. Register at Locusthillsgc.com/summerleague. Registration fee is $10, weekly cost of $5. See flyer on bulletin boards for additional information.
Open conditioning has started for all girls who are interested in playing volleyball in the fall. Conditioning will be held at the high school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30 in the gym. Hope to see you there!
There is a volunteer opportunity this summer working with Greeneview Kindergarten through 8th grade students. June 14 - July 2, 9am - Noon, Monday - Friday. Great opportunity for NHS students or students thinking about becoming teachers. If you have questions or want to sign up, see Mr. Kasner. Spots are limited.
Any girl who is interested in playing on the XHS Girls Tennis team in the fall, please stop by room B214 (Mrs. Scott's room) to pick up the summer open courts schedule and to get signed up for important notifications throughout the summer.
Yearbooks are in! If you didn't pick up yours yet, please see Mr. Frank in room C119. We also have a limited number of extra books for sale. Pay $70 to Mrs. Daye in the fee office to claim yours.
Xenia High School football team is doing a mulch fundraiser. If anyone is interested see Coach Hardin here @ GCCC.
