Prom is Saturday April 19th from 7-10pm here in our cafeteria. 

Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during all three lunches and after school in the student lounge upstairs. No sales during academic time.

Sales will start Monday March 31 and go until Friday April 11.

Tickets are $20 a piece and students are limited to buy 2 tickets max. Any GCCC student bringing a guest from any other school has to pick up a guest form in the main office and have it approved before purchasing tickets. 

Cash and checked are preferred! 

 

 

The ACT Make-Up day is Tuesday, March 25th @ 8 a.m. at GCCC.  This is during Spring Break. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Student Services Office for any interested Junior that missed the March 11th test date.  Make sure you put your name on the list before you leave for Spring Break.  Space is limited and registration is on a first come first serve basis.  See Mr. Prather if you have any questions.  

 

 

Please stay off the grassy areas use the sidewalks when coming into the school building. The grass is soft and muddy and students are tracking the mud into the building which causes others to clean it up. Thank you for paying attention to this.

 

Students, 

We are implementing a new attendance system that will require you to either scan your school ID or enter your ID number in order to sign in late or leave early from school. We will be kicking this off when students return from Spring Break. If you need a replacement badge, you can purchase them for $5 in the Supply Room. Please be prepared with either your school ID badge or know your ID number in order to leave early or arrive late.

 

 

Students,

You have a school issued laptop for school use only. If you are using a VPN to bypass GCCC’s restrictions, you are violating our school policy and this may lead to disciplinary actions. If you are caught using a VPN on your school issued laptop, you may be suspended for five days out of school for the first infraction. The second infraction may be a ten-day suspension from school with a recommendation for expulsion. If you are using a VPN, remove your capability to use it as soon as possible.

 

 

 

Students must report to the cafeteria during their designated lunch times. No student is allowed to leave the lunch room without a pass from a teacher or administrative approval. Students are not permitted to hang out in the Student Lounge, break out rooms, or conference rooms during their lunch times

 

 

 

If you need to take a medication at GCCC, you are required to have a prescription from your doctor AND provide the school nurse with the medication. This includes Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, etc. GCCC does not provide students with any medications. This may be different from your home school so check in with the school nurse if you have any questions or you need the form! 

 

                       

                       

Students are not permitted to wear shorts/ leggings or sweatpants/ joggers/ track pants (except exercise science) or jeans with holes in them!

Any STUDENT not in proper 2024-2025 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform either before school or at lunch.

Beavercreek Students: 

Beavercreek Seniors: Jostens will be in the cafeteria today at 8:30 for all of those seniors who didn’t pick up their ordered items on Thursday.

Bellbrook Students: 

Seniors! Join your fellow classmates for a fun trip to Kings Island at the end of the year! Tickets are on sale NOW on HomeTown Ticketing. You must purchase tickets by Monday, April 21. See the attached FAQ sheet OR your class officers, Mrs. Franz, or Mrs. Kaeck with questions!

 

"Talent Show" this Friday March 21st in the high school auditorium that starts at 1:52 p.m. Any student coming to watch the talent show needs to sign in at the main office before going to the talent show. 

 

There will only be one bus Friday afternoon to pick our students up at 1:25 p.m. and bring them to the talent show.   There will not be another bus at the end of the day.

Have you heard? FHS has a weekly Bible study club called Christians in Action. We would love to have you join us for games, snacks, fellowship, and most importantly Jesus! We meet every Tuesday in Mrs. Goodman's room 2135 from 2:10 to 3.

 

Attention Seniors! Don't forget to order your Senior hoodie or crewneck! The order form can be found in your Senior Packet or on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. All orders should be given to Mrs. Zink in Room 2107 or to one of the class officers.

Greeneview Students:

The Greeneview volleyball assembly is this Friday and the cost is $2 to attend or play.

We have an assembly this Friday, March 21. Early dismissal for Greeneview students at 1:25pm and this will be the last bus of the day.

There is a $2 donation to attend.  This is a Sophomore Class fundraiser.

 

Seniors (GCCC) be sure to check with the high school to ensure all of your fees are paid, including your $45 fee for your cap and gown.

Due to a scheduling conflict with the venue, the date for Greeneview's prom has been moved up one week. It is now Saturday April 26th. It will still be held at the Schindler Banquet Center in Xenia. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Xenia Students: 

There will be a student council meeting on Wednesday, March 19th at 7:10am in room B112, Mrs. Kapfhammer's room. As we approach the end of the year, student council executive board applications are being passed out! Remember to join the board to plan things such as homecoming, spirit weeks, and charity events that help our community. Don't miss out on all the fun! Pick up your application at the student council meeting this Wednesday (the 19th) or any time until March 27th.

SENIORS! Mrs. Hyatt is looking for photos for the senior bulletin board in the front hallway.  Please email or print photos of you and your class of 2025 classmates to be added to the "Where We've Been" side of the board. Additionally, when you know your plans for next year, let Mrs. Hyatt know "where you're going" so she can put your name on the map.

High School Track Conditioning for Boys and Girls has begun Please be prepared to go outside. Email Mr. Gudgel if you have questions.

 

Attention anyone interested in Baseball.

The High School practice will be held from 4:00-6:00 in Nuke’s Warehouse. It’s located in the Mill Works Complex at 305 N. Walnut Drive. If you need a ride, catch Bus #6 to be dropped off at the Warehouse. 

If you are not a player but interested in supporting the Baseball Team and earning community service hours as a team manager, please let AD Welch know.

The Yellow Springs Library sponsors tutoring for YS students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30- 5:00 pm at the Bryan Center. It is free to attend.

D&D Club will meet on Thursdays after school until 5:30pm in Ms. Sellar’s Room, Room 303. Anyone interested is welcome to attend!
