Greene County Career Center Students:
Picture retakes are scheduled for Thursday October 7th from 8a to 10a in the Multipurpose Room
No outwear is to be worn over your GCCC uniform!
No jackets/ hoodies/ or coats are permitted.
If you are cold, you must wear something warm under your uniform.
The expectation is that students are on time every day to every class!
If you are late for a class (other than first period) you must report to one of the following locations to get a “clean sweep pass”
• Academics will report to Mrs. Taylor (2511)
• High Bay labs will report to Mr. Downing
• Other labs and Credit Recovery will report to ISD.
Students who are participating in a sport or a club at their homeschool are permitted to wear the t-shirt or jersey to school on Fridays. This t-shirt or jersey MUST signify the sport or club. All dress code rules still apply. For example: if your lab requires scrubs or khakis then you must still wear them with your homeschool shirt or jersey.
Reminder to all students: In order to take medication at GCCC, you have to have a doctor’s form on file AND supply the nurse with the medicine. This includes over the counter meds such as Tylenol and Advil. No medications can be given out without the form and the medication.
Students are not permitted to wear shorts/ hoodies/leggings or sweatpants(etc. exercise science) or jeans with holes in them!

If you are a Junior and have not received your uniform, please wear the t-shirt that you were given as your uniform every day. If you do not have your t-shirt to wear, then report to ISD to borrow a uniform.

Any student who does not have their GCCC ID or not in proper 2021-2022 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform/ get a temporary ID.

Board Game Club is back! After a hiatus last year, Board Game Club is back! We will be meeting on Wednesdays after school in Mr. B’s room, 1040. Whether you’ve been a part of the group before or are just looking for a fun activity after school, everyone is welcome! We learn and play strategic board games, such as Settlers of Catan, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Pandemic, and many more!
Look for information coming soon about P.A.L.S - an after school social program working with our special needs students. Advisors are Mrs. Haacke and Mrs. Kingery.
Come join GSA! We meet on Wednesdays in room 1020 from 3:05 - 4:00 pm. Snacks are provided!

This year's Homecoming theme is "Under the Stars". The dance will be held on Saturday, October 9th from 8-11 pm in the BHS Fieldhouse. Please note - the location of the dance may need to be moved outdoors to accommodate COVID protocols. We appreciate your patience and understanding as things change daily. We will continue to monitor this situation with our Student Council representatives. September 4th through October 1st, ticket prices are $20. No tickets will be sold after October 1st. No exceptions.
Students need to return their ticket order forms, guest form (if applicable), and money in an envelope to the box in the Main Office. If you need a Beavercreek Homecoming Dance Order Form, you can pick one up in the GCCC Guidance Office.
The homecoming parade is back on for this year. It will be held on October 7th, and will start at 6:00PM. The parade route will start at Main Elementary and end at the High School. Applications for floats will be available in the main office. Each float will only need on application. Fill them out and turn them in as soon as possible to the main office, the applications will be due September 28th! Hope to see you there!
Look out for After -Parade! Your Homecoming queen and king will be announced in the stadium, along with the rest of you Homecoming courts. As a celebration, we will have lots of food truck, games and a bouncy house! Drop in at any time after the homecoming parade from 6-9 pm in the athletic lot. Bring your family and friends for a bite to eat and a good time.
The athletic department has moved to all electronic purchases for the 2021-2022 season. We will be 100% digital this season for all ticketing at all high school athletic events, we will not be selling any tickets at the gate. Please make sure to purchase tickets prior to your arrival for the game at spicket.events/Beavercreek.

Warning: The yearbook price increases in $5 increments throughout the year. Now is the absolute lowest price you’ll have! Act now. Do not delay.
ATTENTION SENIORS – Do you want your cute baby picture in the yearbook? $10. Not so cute picture? Still just $10! …and how about a “shout out” ad to you with a photo of yourself you really like? $40 to $75, depending on the size ad you choose. The yearbook staff will even design it for you, if you like. Deadline to submit is October 1st. Also, by October 1st, don’t forget to return your Senior Question/Answers to Mrs. Barber (or to yearbook folder in the office)!
Seniors You only have 3 more days left to get your baby photo and your senior shout out-if desired AND for every senior, your yearbook questionnaire submitted to Mrs. Barber. If you aren’t here when she is, leave your stuff in the Yearbook folder in the office.
BASEBALL PLAYERS – Open field at the baseball field on Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
SEASON SPORTS PASS – You can purchase a season sports pass. Go to our school website cedarcliffschools.net, click on the “District” tab and scroll down to “Tickets, Sports.” Passes are on sale through December 31, 2021.
For any student planning on attending homecoming this year: Please be aware that from this point moving forward through the date of the dance, any student that is placed in quarantine may lose eligibility to attend the dance. This is a FANTASTIC reminder to not only wear your mask, but wear it appropriately! Masks will be mandatory at the dance as well. In addition, The deadline to request to bring an out of district date to homecoming has already passed. Do not ask if you can still submit an Out-of-District Date Form. Thank you all!
Attention students: The ASVAB is being offered at Fairborn High School on October 12. The ASVAB is an aptitude test that can be used for career exploration. If you’d like to take the test, please turn-in your permission slip to the guidance office by Tuesday, October 12. Forms and permission slips are located in the Main Office and Guidance Office.
FHS Homecoming "Fame and Fortune"
When: Saturday Oct. 2, 2021 from 7-10 pm
Where: FHS commons and gym
Tickets: On Sale Mon- Fri (9/27-10/1) $15 on Mon and Tues. $20 on Wed-Fri. GCCC students must purchase their homecoming ticket through the finance office at FHS by Friday at 2:30pm. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Tickets for this year’s Homecoming Dance will be on sale from September 27 through October 1. All tickets are priced as individual tickets and will cost $20 each. You will receive a $5 Early Bird Discount if you purchase your ticket during the first two days of the sale--Monday, September 27, and Tuesday, September 28. On these days only, tickets will be sold for just $15. You must purchase your ticket by 2:30 pm on Friday, October 1 because no tickets will be sold at the door.
Come to the Powderpuff Game on September 30 at BMS stadium immediately following the Fairborn Homecoming Parade. The cost of admission is one canned good per spectator, but you can always donate more. Items collected will be donated to the Fairborn FISH Pantry. So, come to the Powderpuff Game. Have fun and support the local food bank.
The FHS weight-room is currently open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 until 4:30. If you want to participate in weight room training and conditioning, you must have your final forms up-to-date. For information about the weight room or “final forms,” come to the Athletic Office.

Homecoming Guest Applications and Dance Contracts are available in the high school office and in an email sent to all students. In order to purchase a ticket, you must have completed and returned these documents to the high school office or return by email to [email protected]
The Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, October 16th in the High School gymnasium from 7:00-10:00 PM. Tickets will go on sale one week before Homecoming. All tickets are $20. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. K.
Be on the lookout for the dates when Mr. Zipes, Ms. DeWitt or Mrs. Gardner will visit the career center to sell tickets at lunch. You may also turn in your dance contracts and guest applications at that time

If you need to request a transcript for a college, you will need to use your NAVIANCE account. All students have a NAVIANCE account. Please check your Greeneview email for information on how to log-in and use the program.
