GCCC T-shirts are now for sale in the supply room. These t-shirts can be worn until you receive your uniform order. T-shirts are $6.75, but once purchased, there are no returns, exchanges, or refunds. If using a credit card to purchase, the total of the purchase must be $10 or more.

The expectation is that students are on time every day to every class!
If you are late for a class (other than first period) you must report to one of the following locations to get a “clean sweep pass”
• Academics will report to Mrs. Taylor (2511)
• High Bay labs will report to Mr. Downing
• Other labs and Credit Recovery will report to ISD.
Students who are participating in a sport or a club at their homeschool are permitted to wear the t-shirt or jersey to school on Fridays. This t-shirt or jersey MUST signify the sport or club. All dress code rules still apply. For example: if your lab requires scrubs or khakis then you must still wear them with your homeschool shirt or jersey.
Reminder to all students: In order to take medication at GCCC, you have to have a doctor’s form on file AND supply the nurse with the medicine. This includes over the counter meds such as Tylenol and Advil. No medications can be given out without the form and the medication.
Students are not permitted to wear shorts/ hoodies/leggings or sweatpants(etc. exercise science) or jeans with holes in them!

If you are a Junior and have not received your uniform, please wear the t-shirt that you were given as your uniform every day. If you do not have your t-shirt to wear, then report to ISD to borrow a uniform.
First period teachers please check for uniforms AND IDs!
Any student who does not have their GCCC ID or not in proper 2021-2022 GCCC uniform must report to room 2317 to borrow a uniform/ get a temporary ID.

Christians in Action Club: Meetings are each Monday immediately after school until 3:45 in Room 2027. Come join the group for: games, music, fellowship, bible study, food, and service projects. See Miss Creech for details.
Board Game Club is back! After a hiatus last year, Board Game Club is back! We will be meeting on Wednesdays after school in Mr. B’s room, 1040. Whether you’ve been a part of the group before or are just looking for a fun activity after school, everyone is welcome! We learn and play strategic board games, such as Settlers of Catan, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, Pandemic, and many more!
The athletic department has moved to all electronic purchases for the 2021-2022 season. We will be 100% digital this season for all ticketing at all high school athletic events, we will not be selling any tickets at the gate. Please make sure to purchase tickets prior to your arrival for the game at spicket.events/Beavercreek.

SEASON SPORTS PASS – You can purchase a season sports pass. Go to our school website cedarcliffschools.net, click on the “District” tab and scroll down to “Tickets, Sports.” Passes are on sale through December 31, 2021.
Winter strength and conditioning will begin Monday, November 29, immediately after Thanksgiving Break. Workouts will be held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:30 - 4:30. Workouts are open to all athletes currently not in season or involved in a pre-season workout program. Football and Mens and Womens Track & Field will always have coaches present for these workouts.
Any student interested in being a part of the stage crew for the FHS musical “Grease” should plan on attending the first crew meeting on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2, from 2:20-2:50 in the auditorium. Please sign-up on the choir room door so that we know how many students to expect.

The FHS Society Club is working with DSW Shoes to host a Shoe Drive called SOLES 4 SOULS. Clean out your closets over Thanksgiving break and bring in all of your unwanted shoes and boots.
Hey, Skyhawks! Did you know you can submit pictures for consideration to be placed in the Fairborn High School yearbook for 2021-2022. Just download the Yearbook SNAP application onto your phone; search for Fairborn High School. Enter the code yearbook2022 and you can upload your pictures. Remember, ALL photos must be school appropriate.
All are welcome to join the new Fairborn Feminist Club on Fridays at 2:20 in room 237, next to the media center. The club will focus on creating supportive spaces that empower women/girls' statuses and their roles within the school.

Community Service opportunity at the Jamestown Library. Students can make birthday cards to send to kids in the hospital. Either drop off birthday cards you made during the month of November or come to the library and use our supplies to make birthday cards. A National Honor Society student is holding a winter clothing drive, including new or gently used hats, gloves, scarfs, warm socks, and blankets. Donations will be accepted through the end of November and can be placed in the box under the white board at the main entrance of the high school.
All Seniors! This year, we will be implementing NAVIANCE to assist with all of your college and career search needs, including transcript requests. If you need to request a transcript for a college, you will need to use your NAVIANCE account. All students have a NAVIANCE account. Please check your Greeneview email for information on how to log-in and use the program.
All Seniors! For those of you who are applying to colleges via the Common App:You need to invite your counselor through Naviance and NOT through Common App. You will also request Teacher Recommendations through Naviance and not through Common App.The only thing you will do on the "FERPA and Recommender" tab of Common App is to waive or not waive your right to review your recommender letters.
Remember, if you are applying directly to the school (using the app on their web page and not Common App), you just go into Naviance and add the school AND request the transcript.
Registration for Winter Sports Grades 7-12 is now open. Go to the school website under the Athletics Tab and select Registration. Athletes need to be registered online, have a completed physical on file in the Athletic Office, and meet the Eligibility requirements after the first grading period.

As the holidays are approaching the student council is holding a fundraiser called baskets for battles. This fundraiser is to help local cancer patients that are going through chemo. It begins November 3rd and ends December 3rd. You can bring hats, gloves, blankets, cards, coloring pencils/ books, chapstick and more! Please bring any donations to the main office, guidance office or to B112 Mrs. Petraiuolos room!

Greene County Public Library and the Children's Hunger Alliance are partnering together to provide after school shelf stable meals/snacks to school aged children. Come to the YS Community Library on Monday or Friday from 4- 4:30 pm to pick up this free food. Each bag will contain a liquid, protein, fruit, vegetable and a grain. Each student may have one bag. A parent may also pick up bags for their children.
