Last week, Governor DeWine announced that this school year will continue with an on-line learning format. GCCC will maintain the current schedule of instruction previously posted. It is imperative that students continue to complete assignments. No new assignments will be made after May 8 and all will be due by May 18. We want to be certain that all students remain on track for graduation. Please make sure your students are continuing to follow the directions and that they complete assignments. A document has been posted below and on our Facebook page that provides guidelines on various issues. Very soon, we will share information on a pick-up and drop-off day for students.
Unfortunately, based on the social distancing requirements we must cancel the GCCC prom.
Due to state mandates, our May 19 graduation has been cancelled. On Friday, we received information that the Ohio Department of Education is urging only virtual graduation ceremonies. However, we have secured a July 25th date in hopes this can change. When more guidance is provided by the Governor, we will communicate more information. The July 25th ceremony is scheduled for the Nutter Center at 6 p.m.
We thank you for your patience and look forward to seeing everyone in the near future.
