SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION


A scholarship is a sum of money awarded to eligible students to assist with paying for college.
The money is applied to tuition and/or living expenses, and it does not need to be repaid.

 
Scholarships are awarded because of:
  • Intended major, type of college
  • where you live or your high school, race, ethnicity or religion, your job
  •  Physical ability, disability, or disease diagnosis

  • Your parents, teachers, employers, club leaders, coaches
Applying for scholarships
 
All scholarships require you to complete an appliation.  They ask you to describe your interests, activities, and talents.  Scholarships want to know about you!  Remeber to write the best essay you can, keep it neat and chaeck your spelling.  You will be judged for what the scholarship panel seees in your application.
For every 10 scholarships you apply for you will probably receive ONE!  Apply to lots of scholarships. You can search the internet for scholarships.
