Greene County Career Center Students:
It is mandatory for all seniors to complete 15 hours of community service and to have this turned in by May 2 in order to receive your Certificate of Completion.  See your lab instructor if you have questions.

Reminder to Career Center students that all daily announcements are posted on the school website. Check our homepage on the right hand side and click on the Daily Announcements link. This page includes updates of all of your partner school announcements as well.

College-bound students should be looking for scholarships right now, because deadlines are going to be coming up throughout winter and spring.  Several local scholarships have recently become available through the Greene County College Partnership.  Anyone with questions about those scholarships or any other scholarships can visit the College Guide in room 128 for an application packet and scholarship listings.  College-bound seniors should also be filling out their FAFSAs if they haven’t already, because federal aid and many scholarships will require that to be filed.

GCCC’s 90’s Throwback Prom tickets are on sale! Get yours for $20 a person, $30 a couple from Mr. Wilson in the Enrichment Room. You can also buy tickets on Thursday and Friday of each week in the cafeteria. Remember, your date must be 20 or under and you need to fill out an out-of-district date form. It’s going to be a blast from the past!!

This is a reminder that students are not to park in the staff or visitor parking spots.  Students parking in the front of the building may face discipline and/or a loss of driving privileges.

Need Extra help in your classes?  The Enrichment Room is open for tutoring, Credit Recovery, Carnegie or just a quiet place to work. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30.

Don’t forget the “Do the Right Thing” box is located in the guidance office. Students can report issues anonymously.  Keep the ticket attached and you might win a reward!

School fees may be paid in the Supply Room, or on-line, using the PayForIt.net link on the school website.
